How BreedSure makes money

The short version: BreedSure may earn a commission when you get a quote or buy a policy through some of the links on this site. Those links are marked "Partner link". Commissions never change the order of the lists, which are always sorted by estimated monthly price, and no insurer can pay to be listed or to rank higher.
Our current partner is Petcube (online vet chat), through the Awin affiliate network. We earn nothing from the insurers we list. BreedSure is owned and operated by Klazify, Inc., a Delaware corporation.
Partner links
A partner link takes you to the partner's website, usually through an affiliate network such as Awin, which records that you came from BreedSure so the partner can pay us if you get a quote or buy. You pay the same price either way. Every partner link is marked "Partner link" next to the button, and we tell search engines it is sponsored.
We only add a partner's button once its program has approved BreedSure. If we add a partner or a paid placement, we will update this page first and label it clearly on the page.
How we order insurers
- By estimated price. Wherever we show insurers for a breed, a state, a calculator result or the example on the home page, they are sorted by estimated monthly price, lowest first, whether or not the insurer is a partner. Our insurer directory at /insurers uses a fixed order instead. No insurer can pay to change either order.
- Our estimates. Estimates come from our pricing model, not from insurers. How our estimates work.
- What we say about insurers. Plan details are summarized from each insurer's public information, and no insurer reviews them before we publish.
Our role in insurance
BreedSure is an information and comparison website. We are not an insurance company, and we are not a licensed insurance agent, broker or producer. We do not sell, solicit or negotiate insurance, we do not take insurance applications, and we do not give personalized insurance advice. To get a quote or buy a policy, contact the insurer directly; it decides whether to offer you coverage and at what price.
Estimates are not quotes
Prices on BreedSure are modeled estimates to help you compare, not quotes or offers. Each insurer sets its own price, which depends on your dog, where you live, the plan you choose and the insurer's underwriting. Waiting periods, deductibles, reimbursement rates, annual limits and exclusions apply and vary by insurer and state. Read the policy before you buy.
