The short version: BreedSure does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not sell or share your personal information. We measure visits with our own cookieless counter and with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is also cookieless and does not identify you.
Who we are
BreedSure (breedsure.com) is operated by Klazify, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("BreedSure", "we" or "us"). This policy explains what information we collect on breedsure.com, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. BreedSure is built for visitors in the United States.
Information we collect
- Estimate alerts. If you sign up, we collect your email address and the breed and state of the page where you signed up.
- Emails to us. If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
- Visit statistics. When you view a page, we record the page, the site that sent you (its address without any search terms), which insurers were shown and in what order, the breed and state shown on that page, and the time. When you follow a partner link, we also record which partner, and the breed, state and type of page it was on. With each of these records we store your IP address, the approximate location and network provider that Cloudflare derives from it (country, city and network), your device type and browser (user agent), and a code that lets us count unique visitors for one day and changes every day. We collect this through our own servers and a small invisible image on each page, without cookies. We use it to count visits and partner-link clicks, and to detect automated and fake traffic. It does not include your name or email address.
- Technical data handled by our host. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks and abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- ZIP code lookups. Our estimate tool accepts a ZIP code so we can show state-level pricing. Because that tool is a simple web form, a ZIP code you submit appears in the page's URL and therefore in the request logs described above, which Cloudflare keeps for a short period. We do not store your ZIP code in our database, and we do not share it with anyone.
We do not ask for your phone number, payment details, insurance application information or your dog's health records.
How we use information
- To send the estimate alerts you asked for. We do not use your alert email address for anything else.
- To reply to your emails.
- To count how many visits each page gets and which insurers were shown, so we can tell which pages are useful.
- To run, secure and fix the site, and to comply with the law.
Partner links and insurer websites
When you follow a link marked "Partner link", you leave BreedSure and the affiliate network (such as Awin or impact.com) and the partner may set their own cookies on their sites. BreedSure itself sets no advertising cookies. With the click we pass the network a reference made of the breed, state and type of page you came from, never your name, email address or anything else that identifies you. The network's and the partner's own privacy policies, not this one, govern what they collect: see, for example, Awin's privacy policy.
Other insurers on BreedSure are listed without links. If you visit an insurer's website on your own, its privacy policy governs what it collects.
How long we keep information
- Alert email addresses: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your address.
- Emails to us: as long as needed to respond, then deleted.
- Visit statistics: IP addresses are deleted from them after 90 days. The rest of each record (page, insurer, time, country, city, network, device type) is kept as long as needed to understand which pages are useful. Records of automated traffic, including the IP address, are deleted after 90 days.
Your choices and privacy rights
- Unsubscribe. Every alert email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email privacy@breedsure.com.
- Access, correct or delete. Email privacy@breedsure.com from the address you gave us and tell us what you want. To protect your information, we may confirm the request through that address before acting on it.
Residents of California and a growing number of other states have rights under state privacy laws. These can include the right to know what personal information a business holds, to get a copy, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of its sale, sharing or use for targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We honor access, correction and deletion requests from every user, wherever you live, and we will not treat you differently for making one.
We respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent if you give them written permission. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject line, and we will respond within 45 days.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
BreedSure does not track you across websites and does not sell or share personal information, so these browser signals do not change how BreedSure works. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing.
California residents
We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes (California Civil Code § 1798.83). In the past 12 months we have not sold or shared personal information, and we have disclosed it for business purposes only to the service providers described above.
Children
BreedSure is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email privacy@breedsure.com and we will delete it.
Security and where information is processed
We use HTTPS to encrypt information in transit, and we limit access to stored information to the people who need it to run BreedSure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where Cloudflare operates.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use information you already gave us, we will tell you by email or with a notice on the site before the change takes effect.
